The 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you to the famous Volcanoes national park where you will trek the gorillas and golden monkeys, during your two night stay at the park. You will have an opportunity of visiting Kigali genocide memorial as well.
Day 1: Pickup from the airport
Up on landing at Kigali airport, you will be pickup at the airport by our company representative, who will brief you shortly before you are transferred to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay at Hotel des Mille Collins: dinner
Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes
Have breakfast at your hotel and later meet your guide, share a brief introduction and head for Kigali city tour, by visiting Kigali genocide memorial, and later transfer to Volcanoes national park where you will spend your night for the next day gorilla trekking. Dinner and accommodation at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Day 3: Gorilla trekking
After an early morning breakfast, meet your guide and transfer to Volcanoes national park, where you will have gorilla trekking briefing on rules and regulation, later drive off to the gorilla trekking starting point, and head off for your trek. You will enjoy the wonderful guided hike to the gorilla trekking point before you meet the gorillas, where an hour will be allocated to you with the gorillas and you’re free to share and informative time, with your ranger guide. You will return after the trek and drive to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon, retire at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Day 4: Golden monkey trekking and return to Kigali
You will head for Golden monkey trekking at Volcanoes National Park. The golden monkey trek is just like gorilla trek, though less strenuous than gorilla. You will have an hour with the golden monkey’s later return for lunch. After lunch head drive to Kigali, time allowing, visit Kigali genocide memorial and local market before transfer to the airport, for your departure flight.
